another boot question -- i'm short, can i wear these?

i'm 5'2" and fashion challenged, and would love an opinion on these boots:

i still wear bootcut jeans and i'm not the most fashion-forward person so being trendy is not really my thing, but i am looking for a pair of versatile brown boots to wear with skirts/dresses and jeans. thoughts? thanks.

Yes, I like them. I'm the same height. I would wear them with skirts, jeans, etc.

I wouldn't wear those with skirts or dresses. Too clunky. Will make you look shorter.

23;13 -- that's what i was afraid of. what would you suggest? is my only option a knee-high boot to wear with skirts? mid-calf would be the same problem (cutting my legs off at a weird place), right?

For a more casual look, try searching for a wedge bootie. I think these will give you better versatility for skirts/dresses, as well as jeans than your original option. Like this: http://www.dsw.com/shoe/clarks+artisan+rosepoint+dew+wedge+bootie?prodId=309810&productRef=SEARCH

For a fancier look that goes with dark jeans, as well as skirts/dresses, look for a thinner heel than your original idea. DSW doesn't have a ton of options in brown, but here are two:

I'm not a fashion expert, so maybe I'm "wrong," but there are only a couple of ways I really like the bootie look:
option a is with skinny jeans/leggings
option b is with a dress, but with tights that are close in color to the boots for a monochromatic look.

Are you on pinterest? Search for "short boots outfit" and you'll at see different pictures.

I would look for a boot with a narrow, tighter-fitting ankle opening so it doesn't shorten you more. I am short too, and wear booties with regular width pants. I cannot wear skinny jeans or skirts with most boots - it makes me look shorter. I wear ankle-length skinny jeans with flats, and skirts with knee-hi boots or pumps.
