Best Ice Cream Cake

I need to purchase an ice cream cake - debating between Carvel or Baskin Robbins. Cold Stone is out of my budget. Which would you recommend, and is there a particular flavor you like? Thanks.

Baskin Robins. I like their vanilla chocolate crunch. they do much better designs.

Carvel and Baskin Robbins are both good but different. Carvel is solid ice cream layered with sold crushed up cookies. Baskin Robbins is a combination of cake and ice cream layers. Really depends on what you like. Both are yummy!

No, BR does all ice-cream, the combination as you said or they do the chocolate/vanilla crunch one (love that one).

What's the budget? T Sweets has amazing ice cream cakes that you can order with any combination of their flavors. 8" is $35. You do need to give 24 hours notice though. We usually do bittersweet (dark chocolate) and another flavor like peanut butter or mint chip.

Thanks! OP here - the Thomas Sweet cake sounds amazing but out of my way. The BR vanilla crunch sounds great, that might be the winner! Thanks again.

Thoughts on Ben and Jerry's ice cream cakes?

The Safeway store brand oreo one is better than any I have had from BR. Had a mistake in an order and bought one as backup and it as hands-down the favorite.

DQ isn't ice cream. It's ice milk.
