Branding oneself

| Has anyone made their own website to market themself professionally? Or done other things to solidify their professional "brand"? I have a bunch of writing I've done for different jobs that I'd like to link from one central place (our reprint if I get permission) and am wondering 1- if this sort of branding is helpful and 2 - how to get started as someone not tech savvy? |

Either go to wix.com or hire someone to help you position yourself, and handle the technical components.

| I use weebly.com. Once my freelancing paid off a bit, I bought my domain name so I wouldn't have weebly attached to my web address. I find it very user-friendly & professional. |
