3 games, 0 wins, 2 draws. 0 GD.

3 draws*

Arlington tied all their games but were playing other top teams. So I would conclude that yes, Arlington is good but fairly matched with other top East Coast teams....and note that the Texas and Ca teams weren't there.

Agreed that showcases aren't for recruiting at this age but really just to see some other competition at your general level.

Disagree that anybody wasn't playing to win.

The 2011 Union team seems in trouble. The wesite says reports no wins in the last 12 games!? And GD of 7-38= -31. I know people have talked about injuries, coaching problems, etc but this is really surprising and can't be chalked up to only "development". But FVU next year can't be worse so they'll spin it as success story!

More like lack of development.

Curious to see what happens to that roster. There's talent on that team. Wheels kinda fell off around the same time the merger was announced.

Rude awakening incoming in a little over a month.

They played the top teams and didn’t lose. The weekend experience could actually motivate and help them. Non Arlington parent, just being honest.

Silver back Arlington dad still quiet no chest to thump about the brilliance of 12-13 year olds

Also a non-Arlington parent. Sounds like their defense played very well, but they didn’t get going offensively. That’s a watch out for a team that’s supposed to be this good.

This is actually a good take. At the end of the day they're 12-13 year olds, who knows where they all will be in 2-3 years. Their defense is great, a LOT of it leans on a single player. Their offense isn't built for consistency, nothing is built up, usually scores happen by being on the better end of 50/50's.

Look they are a great team. But there are lots other great teams out there, and potentially greater teams out there that they haven't played yet. It is what it is.

There are no great teams here, just some OK teams. Many of the great teams are in CA. It’s a significant difference.

+1 compared to other teams in other states. There is not much in the DC area in general. You find out the hard way when these teams play the other teams .

If anyone thinks the DC area teams are the best, they have not seen California or even Ohio or PA teams yet.
