Having friends over and thought an antipasto platter would be something different and easy since it can all be done ahead of time and refrigerated. What would be good? I was thinking of different olives, Italian salami rolled up, bread sticks. I need some help! Thanks!
You could add some Italian cheeses (Parmigiano Reggiano shards, Gorganzola), other Italian cold cuts (prosciutto, capicolo, or mortadella, marinated veggies such as artichokes, mushrooms or peppers and other fresh veggies such as celery, carrot, radish, fennel, an maybe an Italian dip or two such as white bean dip or eggplant with some toasted crostini.
I like to do 3 kinds of cheeses - a soft goat, a blue, and parmesean. Various olives, salami, crostini, almonds, pear slices or figs.
Make one of these.
