Does anyone else think the use of business jargon eg, "just thought I'd REACH OUT..." as everyday language or in non-business settings is laughable?

| I hate the phrase "circle back." |
| What is wrong with reach out? Covers email, phone, text with 2 words. |
Yes! Because I think of "circle jerk" which is really what most business people are only good at. |
| In the government, "I don't want to step outside my pay grade, but...." |
|
"price point"
Over. Used. |
| The language of morons. |
| Ugh. I hate "reach out" and "circle back" I like my boss but he says these all the time and it always makes me cringe. |

I don't get this one either. Why not use the words cost, budget, price? It's so clearly a way to make something mundane sound more sophisticated (which actually sounds really dreary to me). |
| Out of pocket. Eww! |
Heh. My boss reminded everyone that we're in the "4th inning" on such and such a project. She obvs meant 4th quarter or 9th inning. |
| And I hate co-workers that go radio silent. Remember - you will be in my position one day and I won't forget. |

Impactful, incentivize - not real words
Finding the sweet spot - sounds sexual, weird in a business setting Reaching out is also right on the cusp of being overused and driving me nuts |
