Need dress outfit for boy for this coming Saturday - where to go? MoCo

Anonymous
My 9 YO son has a dressy event this weekend and we just realized none of his winter stuff is fitting well from last year. I'm thinking dress pants, blazer, button down shirt and possibly a tie. He could also do a suit, if I could get one this quickly. He is on the chunky/short side if that makes a difference. Any ideas?

Nordstrom, crewcuts

Depending on his size, he may be able to find some things in Macy's. The problem is you may need alterations and getting done before the weekend will be tough.

Nordstrom Rack has a good selection of sizes as well. Great ties and good prices ($15 fro Michael Kors ties that regularly run $60)

Nordstrom (the regular size) doesn't have a large selection of dress things for boys. You may get lucky with a husky size their but you will pay a pretty high price for clothes unless you find things on sale.

Lord and Taylor.

+1. Try to track down a coupon -- they usually are running some -- or use your L&T card if you have one to get the discount without a coupon.

Burlington Coat Factory has a surprising selection.

Lord & Taylor's, Nordstrom's, and Beyda's Lads and Lassies. The last is a great little boutique in Bethesda across from the BowlMor in the Giant shopping center.

Gymboree has their everything 16.99 and under. sale right now. I don't think they carry blazers/jackets for boys, but you can get nice pants and ties, possibly a dressy sweater or vest if that would work.

You could get the blazer someplace else, like Lord and Taylor or wherever.

I found everything I needed at Sears (Land's End line)!
