Dumb not to look at Greenfront?

Anonymous
We are about to pull the trigger on a load of furnishings from Belfort. We are really pleased with our selections, but I hear a lot about Greenfront and am wondering if we'd be dumb to not take a look before we go with the Belfort furniture. What I like about the Belfort stuff is that it is part of one cohesive design, whereas it is my understanding that I'd have to comb through everything at Greenfront, right? And yes, we have looked at other places before settling on Belfort (Macy's, C&B, Room & Board, etc.).

Our Belfort stuff has NOT held up well. Sofas, in particular.

What brands did you have? What are the issues you are having and over what time frame? Thanks for the insight.

PP here, we had the Belfort Select line. Sofa frames are creaky and cushions are rather uncomfortable. Creakiness started right away, and they replaced the couch. 6 months later, creakiness again. They won't do anything about it. If shopping at Belfort, I would avoid any of their own lines. I've heard Rowe is a good affordable line they carry but have never tried it myself.

I've got to give a shout out to my crate and barrel stuff - it's held up to two crazy boys shockingly well. Room and Board hasn't fared as well.

The upholstered pieces we are considering are Rowe and Kincaid.
