| If you've been there for a birthday party, how was it? |
| OK, not amazing. |
| Did one at a ffx cty nature center and honestly it was boring for me as the parent and for the kids. The craft was pretty lame and took all of 10 minutes and the presentation was really short - under 15 minutes - and was provided by jr. high kids with an adult assisting. The party space itself was kind of dirty and there was nothing to really entertain the kids. |
| The arkington nature centers are very dirty. I can't imagine hanging out for 1.5 hours in one. Plus, I can take my kid for free during the week. So, it wouldn't be that appealing to either me or my child. |
| Green Springs Gardens does great little parties for kids. |
I have looked at their website and could not find information about birthday parties. What type of children's activities do they do for birthday party? |
| Bump |
| They are ok. I mean it's a musty old lodge. The talk the ranger gave was pretty good. Kids liked looking around at the Animals. You need other stuff for them to do though or the get bored. The pond is interesting if it's warm enough |
The one I went to was for a 4 or 5 year old and they gave an age appropriate talk about rabbits vs hares. Kids also played musical chairs and some other party games. |
