While I love Pho soup, I can't eat it (or any MSG containing food) without having very unpleasant side effects.
Anyone know of a Pho restaurant that does not use MSG? |

OP here thanks! I got a headache too, but MSG does worse than that. First the runs, then extreme drowsiness, followed by headache for hours.
I really can't stand the stuff. I have noticed several Asian markets selling MSG in 2 or 5 lb bags. Pho around here seems to be loaded up with MSG. |

I'd be interested also. I always thought that pho was really time-consuming, roasting bones and simmering the broth with spices for a loooooong time. If that's not the case, I'd love to hear it! |
