My DC school has 2 picture days. One in the fall and one in spring. Do you get pictures from both picture days? Which picture day is the one that has year book picture?
|
| At our school the fall pic is the yearbook one. |
| Neither, we have enough pictures that we take throughout the year. My children are in HS and we have never purchase school pictures. Overpriced and poorly done. |
| The fall pic is in the yearbook. At our school, fall is more formal and Spring tends to have cheesier backgrounds. |
It is also a fundraiser for the school. Note: My kids are out and I am going through pictures. We have WAY too many school pictures! |
| Fall is the yearbook picture, and spring is when they take the class pictures (which we tend to get). They also make us put our order in before we actually see the pictures, which I think is ridiculous. |

Our school used to do both fall and spring pictures but has (thankfully) gone to just fall in recent years. Having two mediocre school pictures per year was excessive, IMO.
Also agree with PP who said it's ridiculous that we have to pay before seeing the pictures. More than once I've had to have them retaken because they were so hideous. |

The pictures are over priced and cheesy.

| I know that the spring picture is when the class photo is taken b/c my son was sick that day last year and isn't in the photo. I think the fall photo is in the yearbook. |
Same here! I always hated the school pictures. I always wished my mom wouldn't buy them. I did buy the class picture they took last spring for my second grader. It was like $10 and I thought it would be cute for when he's older and he could look back and remember his classmates. |
Lol!
