Has anyone's daughter told them about the auditions this morning? I haven't gotten feedback, but DH told me there were many more girls than most years.

DD auditioned this morning in the Level 1 Group. It seemed like there were more girls that last year.

I'm pretty sure they try to find spaces for all the kids as long as their size and skill levels align with the available roles and the associated costumes. Casting more kids means more guaranteed ticket sales.

Has anyone tried to enter their DC's name on the Nutcracker home page to see if they have been cast?

Haven't received email saying no slot nor is there a role listed on the website...

They are posting. But it takes a while to get everyone up. Last year, my youngest's role was posted when we woke up and her sister's role didn't get posted until almost 4pm.

Interesting still no email or role. Does anything come up when you type your childs name into the website? For ours the name loads but there is no role to the right.
