This is the exact kind of attitude of why you will be surprised. |
You forget that Capital places an emphasis on not having crazy parents and team bonding. They have already talked to folks in the lax community and I can tell you now that will keep some girls out and get some girls in. |
100% |
So I guess SD would be first on the chopping block since he is clearly the most infamous parent in the DMV? |
| IYKYK 🤣 |
Infamous or famous? |
| I thought Bethesda was the pipeline to Capital? Or was that fake news last year when the leader of that movement’s DD made 27 Orange. |
The pipeline stopped after the 24s, but it was resurfacing with the 27s. However, the 28s put a crimp in that plan when 4 of them left for Hero’s. Other BLC girls left after for stars and other clubs and now there is nothing left of that BLC team to get girls from for Capital. |
Capital doesn't care who your parents are. That's why Capital is Capital. |
Yes. That is what happened with the 25s and 26s. |
| Pride’s whole starting lineup should make it. |
They have also played with each other for years and are comfortable as a team. I think this also gives them a leg up. Don’t forget the Pride 26s won a National Championship. Their training model obviously works. Capital isn’t blind to these facts. |
I do see the National championship banner on my daily drive to work. It brings a tear to my eye every time I see it. |
Not really how that works. Middies sub and lines are adjustable. |
Thanks for that insightful view of a lacrosse teams inner workings. My point is that are there truly 12 blue level players on pride. I don’t see that on that team. It will also depend on who else shows up from other clubs who could be better. |
