Throw blankets

Anonymous
Aside from the usual suspects (Pottery Barn, West Elm etc) does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could find a unique throw blanket? I'm looking for something soft (wool or cotton) but with some sort of pattern to make it a bit more unique. Suggestions appreciated!

I just bought a Threshold brand orange and beige herringbone throw from Target. Very soft and very reasonably priced. May not last a lifetime but a good, pretty option!

I got a lovely houndstooth throw at Tuesday Morning for $20. It's soft, washes well, and at $20 I have no problem with being used for blanket forts, an indoor sled, or constantly being on the floor.

I got one from joss and Main that has a big, colorful pattern. Two from gumps in SF that have minimal patterns like herringbone, and one from ... Room and board I think that's just blue with fringe on the edges.

The softest, most luxurious throws I've come across are from a company called Tourance. I found them shopping in Sonoma one year and have now bought about five of them. They come in all sorts of styles and even show up on One King's Lane and My Habit on occasion. The short-hair faux rabbit is the softest. And made in the USA!
