7 stages of grief --- 7 stages of ebola

Anonymous
I was scared when I first heard about the ebola case in Dallas. Now I am just beyond mad. Completely negligent on our part. Anyone that has visited West Africa or been around anyone with ebola or around someone that died from ebola should be quarantined for 21 days if they return to the US. I am just angry now...

That's a lot of people you're going to quarantine. Where would you put them?

NP here and we restrict incoming travel who've come from WA countries in the last 30 days (so even if they come through Europe or Cananda or Latin America, they'd still be banned or subjected to quarantine for the difference between their travel to a WA country and 30 days).

This is about stopping a potential pandemic so I hope the US will put everything it has into this. FFS, we quarantine dogs and cats - people's pets - to protect us from the spread of disease. Why the HELL aren't we taking a more proactive approach to stopping Ebola.

21:17, thank you for saying it more eloquently than I did (OP here). I was really worried at first after hearing about the Dallas case but now I am just sitting here fuming. You make an excellent point that we quarantine animals but yet let someone that was in Western Africa around ebola into the US and to just expose anyone he/she comes into close contact with. I mean WTF?

Calm down. Have some wine, sex, whatever. If you really want to get angry, I can tell you about someone I met today whose situation made my blood boil due to.total neglect by multiple agencies
