Reston- Great Falls Crossing neighborhood

Can anyone give me some feedback who lives in Great Falls Crossing in Reston. How do you like living there? Are there many kids in the neighborhood? Family/community activities? Thank you!!

I live here and our family loves it. There are tons of kids and the neighborhood has lots of activities. I find most people to be very friendly and my neighbors are some of my best friends. Kids are always outside playing with neighbors. We just had our annual movie night on the green and there is the 4th of July parade, Halloween party, adult party, pool party, community yard sale, etc. We have a well-run, but not overbearing HOA. Pool and clubhouse were updated this year, and other immenities are well-maintained.

The neighborhood actually is in 3 different zip codes (20194, 20190, and 22182), but all are zoned for Forest Edge/Hughes/South Lakes. I'd say most, but not all, go there. I know some kids in private and a few that go to Lake Anne for Spanish immersion and one who does French immersion.

I know a few houses are for sale right now. One was just listed and another has been on the market for a ridiculously long time--that one is overpriced (IMO). Those are in 20194, the largest section of GFX.
