Question about forum usage

I've seen before discussions of the relative number of distinct users in various forums. How does the explicit forum compare to others? Is it mostly a small core of repeat users? Read this recently and am curious as to how accurate it is:

The entire explicit section is like seven of you all talking about yourselves

This forum has devolved into a popularity contest among 5 or 6 regulars who continually usurp it as their personal stage

I wonder if the posters on the explicit forum are completely separate from the rest of the posters on DCUM, or if they are regular DCUM posters who also contribute to the explicit forum.

I'm the OP. I'm a regular DCUM poster, have been since before there was an explicit forum, and I frequently use the explicit forum. I know I'm not the only one, but I'm also sure there are some users of the explicit forum that don't venture much outside that forum.

Some very quick back of the envelope analysis suggests there has been over 800 unique posters in the explicit forum in the past 30 days.

Thanks. Even assuming that most of those posters use 2 or 3 different devices, like me, that's still more than I thought, but a lot less than other forums.
