| What is the one best thing you do to improve how you look in your 40s, apart from sleep more? |
| Work out. |
|
Lose weight. Really good hair color. Well applied makeup. |
| SMILE! |
| Don't get too thin, it will age your face |
| As I have turned 40, the thing that I notice the most is that I look a lot better when my hair is neat. I blow dry every morning. Evening when I am slogging around in yoga pants, if my hair looks freshly trimmed and neat, I look so much better. That and colored lip gloss for some color. Maybe some concealer around my nose. |
| Not quite there yet, but a great haircut & professional eyebrown shaping took years off my late-30s face. |
| Good haircut. |
| Neat hair and clear skin. |

Stop trying to look like you are in your twenties and more like you are the age you are....Embrace it, flaunt it and most of all, do not deny it.
Because trust me, you will be fighting a losing battle that no person has ever won. Ever. |
Who are you talking to? |
|
4 things
1.) drink more water then you think you need 2.) color your hair; very few women have chic silver gray hair (and when it does exist it looks better on women 55+) 3.) work out daily with WEIGHTS. cardio will cut it in your 20s but not so much in your 30s 4.) wear make up that works for your skin. |
You aren't supposed to work out with weights daily--at least on the same muscle group. Your muscles need time to recover from lifting. |
Not PP, but women over 40 who over dye their hair, go on weird fad diets, get too much plastic surgery for starters... |
|
Eyebrow wax and tinting. Having well-shaped brows that you can SEE makes a huge difference in how well-groomed you look.
Nice hair color, plus product in it to make it look thick if it's thinning like mine. Stop wearing jeans everywhere. A nice outer layer like a jacket or a colorful Boden trench coat, will take you a long way. |
