I'm cross posting this with the expectant moms board. I figure this board may have more solid recommendations since everyone on here already has a child.
I am very newly pregnant with baby number 2. I had my son at Washington Hospital Center and ended up with a c-section. I had an easy recovery and no issues. However, we have since moved from DC to Potomac so I think I want to deliver the next baby at Shady Grove. I think I'm going to just do a repeat c-section. I don't know any doctors or OB practices out here so I need recommendations for OBs that did a good job with an initial or repeat c-section that deliver at Shady Grove. I have United Heatlhcare. TIA! |
| Dr. King or Wolfgram with CWC in Bethesda, delivery at Shady Grove. |
+1 for Dr. Wolfgram. He delivered my twins via C-section without any complications. And he fixed the incision from my first C-Section such that you can barely see the scar! |
| I had a C-section (breech baby) with Dr. Renzi of CWC at Shady Grove in January. He was excellent and I healed very easily. Highly recommend him! |
I had an easy c section (for twins) with Dr. Tran in the same office. Highly recommend the whole practice. |
| King/wolfgrams office is amazing. My doc is Alter but I love them all. 2 NICU babies and extended hospital stays so I got to know that entire practice n |
Yes to these as well as to Alam who delivered my twins. All are wonderful, compassionate, incredible doctors. |
Oh he was just so nice. He didn't deliver mine but we had a lot of appointments with him. Dr. Apgar delivered ours (same practice at the time, now too?) and she was great. |
i did not have a c-section, but i had positive experiences with the practice of tran, apgar and renzi. i saw all three of them since you never know who will be on call when you deliver. apgar delivered my second; he was great. |
