Latex mattress or topper

Anonymous
Has anyone used one? The reviews online sound good and safer than foam, but sleeping on latex just sounds weird to me. Anyone have latex sleeping experience to share?

My daughter sleeps on a 6" latex mattress from here: http://www.sleepez.com/october-specials.html

And since I've been falling asleep on it with her for the past 2+ years, I can attest to its comfort. When DH and I are ready for a new bed, I definitely want to get one! You can customize the firmness on each side of the bed using different layers. I also really liked ordering from this company.

We have one from Ikea and love it (we have both a latex mattress and a latex topper-- the mattress is pretty firm and the topper gives you just that bit of softness that I like to be comfortable). Been close to 10 years and in good shape.

My DD also has one from this company. It's very comfortable and I also liked the company. When we got ours a couple of years ago, they were among the best value and I liked that you could customize a lot. They use wool or rayon for flame protection instead of chemicals. OP, the feel and consistency is like foam. It's spongy and springy - it doesn't keep imprints like memory foam, it springs right back.

We have the flame retardant free mattress from Ikea - Heggedal, with an Ikea latex topper on top of it. Love it and and love that it has no chemicals.
