How to post pictures?

can't seem to find instructions on adding pictures? most use Imgur. I am not familiar with that. I have always used photobucket in past and copied the "IMG" link into posts. The photo then shows up within the post (not a link). If use Imgur, do I have to create account? ?I didn't see instructions on Imgur

The best way to link to pictures is to copy the URL of the picture -- not a web page that has a picture, but the actual picture -- and then use the "BBCode" provided by the little icons that appear below a posts's subject when you are creating a new post.

Use the icon that says "Img". Click it once, paste your URL, and click the icon again. Then, use the "Preview" button to make sure the result is what you want. If the picture is huge, please find another one.

You can use any picture hosting site or, indeed, any website at all that has your picture. Many folks use Imgur and that is very easy to use. Just go to http://imgur.com and click "upload images". It is very easy and Imgur will provide you the link to the picture that you need to use here.
