looking for local agency that does china adoption and home studies

OK, i freely admit i may be an idiot but I have looked and I keep finding area agencies that do MD and VA home studies but not DC. And all the big well-known China agencies seem to be in other states--so I guess that means I need to do a home study with adoptions together or someone and then switch to another agency to do the dossier, etc.? I worry that then I won't have the supportive services and connections which I think we'll definitely need because we're looking at Special Needs adoption.

Any advice?

JSSA. It is very common to do a local home study and use an out of state agency.
