| I need to buy a new pair of jeans, reasonably fashionable, but most importantly a good fit. Am prepared to spend around 100-150 if I love what I find. Haven't shopped for jeans in ages. Where would you advise to go? |
| what is your body type, what are you looking to wear the jeans to, what style jeans do you like? |
| Amazon often has good sales. Free shipping and returns. |
| Nordstroms. Although I've had a lot of luck at Marshall's and gap. |
Anyone else have Salt n' Pepa stuck in their head now?
|
Yup! Shoop, shoop a loop, shop a loop |
LOL, yes. OP, is Denim Bar still around? I have had good luck at the Friendship Heights Bloomies, too. I always try Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx first, then cross over to MD if I am striking out. |
| Bloomingdales. All the "in" jeans are in the same area and in your price range and a sales associate will help you pick. I'm crossing my fingers for you that they aren't all late 80's/early 90's-ish. |
Oh, and there is a tailor right outside of Bloomies at Tysons (cant remember if upper or lower level) that can shorten the jeans for you for like $20 - possibly same day if you go early. You will probably need them shortened. |
| Honestly, I like the INC jeans at Macy's. They have a variety of fits and styles, and they're not expensive. |
| Nordstroms. If you buy them at full price they will tailor them for free. |
| I have had great luck at White House Black Market. Great quality and lots of different kinds of fits (including short inseam) and you can usually get two pairs for the price of one at Bloomingdales. |
| I am hopelessly addicted to Lucky Brand jeans, and keep buying the same style in different washes. I'm pretty lean and size 6, but I have hips and muscular thighs which means skinny jeans are out. A lot of women I know who are built like me are similarly obsessed with Lucky brand. |
