Good websites or books on interior painting

DH and I are closing in one week on our first house. We are thinking we are going to try and paint the interior ourselves over the course of the next few weeks (weekends, days off). It is a small house 1700 square feet. We figured we would try one room and see how it goes. We plan on painting most of the house the same neutral color with with trim (BM temporal spirit or manchester tan with white dove trim) for now.
We need to decide
-Eggshell on walls, semi-gloss on trim, ceiling paint on ceiling?
-We aren't sure to go with ceiling white or a lighter mix of the neutral color.
-Should we buy a paint sprayer? Or just good quality roller?


Any advice, or good websites/books we should be looking at?

Go with a white ceiling.

Also, if you're painting in blocks of time, paint/finish walls at one time b/c the color can vary when it dries if you paint on different days for example.
