Painting closet ceiling?

I love painted closets and I'm getting ready to paint a few this weekend. They look so fresh and the dirt/smudges/shoe marks just wipe off. A problem area I have is the closet ceilings. We keep boxes in all of our closets and somehow the ceilings get scraped up in the closets. And because ceiling paint is flat, it doesn't wipe off.

Has anyone painted Eggshell on their closet ceilings? What if I paint the entire closet (walls +ceiling) the same color? Would that look weird? I'm talking mostly about coat closet/kids closets, not huge walk in closets. Thoughts?

This is weird. You are too concerned about the inside appearance of your closets.

Same color as the rooms. One is light gray, the other a light blue, another a light beige.
