I am looking for a new pair for my daughter. Any suggestions? Thanks much!
Most department stores have their own line of sterling silver earrings. I know Macy's does. Decent selection, too.
I love some of James Avery sterling ( wide variety of styles, so not all will appeal to everyone).
Etsy
Blue Nile
Tiffany's
I'm allergic to many types of earrings. Since sterling silver is an alloy, I've found that department stores carry such a wide range of quality and the salespeople don't know about the brands, so I end up having to return many that I can't wear. For me, the best place to shop is Piercing Pagoda. I've never had trouble with their earrings and the quality is consistent. They also have a wide variety of styles for little girls.
Depending on where you live there is an entire sterling silver jewelry store in Old Town called the Silver Parrott.
Fire & Ice.
I like the Silver Parrot too.
I like Blanca Flor in Bethesda. Awesome selection and quality but IMO too expensive for children. I wouldn't buy my daughter's earrings there. I second Macy's or even Nordstrom.
As kindred spirits
Amazon, if you know what you want (ie, silver studs or hoops). Also, Ross Simons has a ton of them.
I actually found a nice selection at Kohls recently. Got two pairs for myself, and my mom was with me and bought some too.
