I'm pretty sure I haven't seen the show on TLC in quite a while. So, why does Georgetown Cupcake have signs hanging in their windows that say "ALL NEW." I drive by there every day and see people in line, which is fine, HOWEVER: the sign is VERY CREATIVELY worded to make it SEEM LIKE the show is currently airing, when, in fact, I'm thinking it was cancelled long ago. I think the "ALL NEW" signage is referring to the new flavors, not the TLC logo which is on the same sign.
Do I have better things to do than this? Probably so, but its just one of those things that bugs me. I think its a bit manipulative, actually. |
Dunno but I will say that this was the worst show ever. The girls read off of cue cards and it was just horrible. |
It's still on the tlc website so I guess so. |
My son was on one of the episodes- the one from the Baltimore Aquarium. There were no cue cards being used when we were there for 6 hours of filming. |
I'm not talking about the "out and about" portions of the show. I'm talking about the sit down interviews. |
That is the worst reality show I have ever seen. I went to the Bethesda store once and was disappointed, so I always laught when I see people wrapped around the block in G'town. I always wonder what idiot invented the idea of putting an frosting "turd" on top of the cupcake instead of spreading it out to the edges. The whole purpose of frosting is to seal the cake so air doesn't dry it out. The cupcakes I got at G-town cupcakes in Bethesda were all dried out. There is no excuse for selling day-old-seeming bakery goods. Whatever. Such a stupid show. |
+1 And......... they are famous because of the show, not because they have delicious cupcakes, which, they really don't. Ew. |
Reality show watchers are for those who do not get out of the house.
