Helping an elderly lady - buying a few items online to ship.

Anonymous
I need advice on what to buy and send to someone. She relies on bus transportant and finding it difficult to bring home anything heavy or large. As you can image. I plan on placing an online order and shipping it to her. So far I have laundry detergent, TP and bottled water. Shopping at either Target or Walmart online. Anything you think I should get?

Paper towels? Does she eat cereal? Cans of soup? That would new good one. Friends of mine used soap.com for that sort of thing and spoke highly of it.

What is this for? Is she destitute? How about some canned food (not sure if this available online), toiletries (eg, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo), new shoes?

When my MIL needed help, I used Safeway delivery. Ordered online and had it delivered for food and other necessities. If it were shoes or other goods, it depends on sizing/what she needs.

Buy a huge package of toilet paper. Dishwasher detergent if she has a dishwasher. Anything in jars or cans that she gets. Prune juice, spaghetti sauce, etc.

Does Peapod or similar deliver to her area?

Peapod's a good idea if she's in the right area. Do you have Amazon Prime? If so, the Amazon Pantry might be helpful.
