Two threads in Real Estate started today seem artificially boosterish for Redfin, and I'm wondering if there's any sock puppetry going on there. Is it spam? Or just genuine Redfin fans?
I recall last year someone at another real estate agency got caught spamming. |
Why would an agent spam for Redfin? |
A Redfin employee/agent might. I just find the threads suspicious and was wondering. |
I think there's many people. I posted on both threads once and am not affiliated at all with Redfin (other than having used recently). |
I can assure you I'm no Redfin "sock puppet".. Just an ordinary mommy reading dcum on phone while nursing. I am a huge Redfin fan though because I think too many people are being ripped off on commissions. Whomever is posting about Redfin is doing a huge public service. Take your wierdo conspiracy theories elsewhere... |
That seems like a very weird crusade to be on, lady. Just sayin'. |
Also (I'm pp) the more people who use Redfin I agent whatever, the more it puts downward price pressure on that whole scam of an industry. There is no reason for agents to make 50k a transaction. It's a totally absurd fleecing of the public. |
I think the exact same way. I think commissions are out of control. |
Redfin seems to have some dedicated fans on this site. I see that one has made an appearance here. I haven't really noticed anything amiss with the posts other than that the Redfin proponents seem to be engaged in a religious war. |
I don't know about that. They weren't when houses cost $100k. It's more a factor of the value surge in housing. So maybe the new models are a good way to go -- if they succeed. I just asked whether the threads were spam or not. If they're not, OK. |
luv me some redfin as well |
