SG - Did you hear from your nurse after Polyp Removal?

I had a polyp removed about a month ago. I haven't heard anything from SG since the day after the procedure when the nurse from the surgical center called to check in. Is this normal?

Yes. Totally normal. Did they give you a time frame of how long you would need to wait to cycle after surgery? I didn't hear anything after my abdominal myomectomy for fibroids. I was told I needed to heal for 3 months before cycling and I called them when the 3 months was up.

They didn't tell me anything including when I should stop BCP - I just decided that on my own. We decided to try one cycle on our own which we are about to complete any day now... So, I guess I will just call them when my next cycle starts to get the ball rolling again.

I would check in with your nurse. It seems strange that you haven't heard back. Did they do a biopsy on the polyp?

OP here. I never heard from the nurse. I called on my next cycle to check in. Now, I have a cyst so have to wait out another cycle!
