Is there some weird fever going around DC?

I've had a fever for over 24 hours, headache, no other symptoms. Have heard a few other anecdotes of the same thing from other people in the DC/NOVA area. What's going around?

My strange bug started with a week of headaches upon waking up. The fevers didn't come until I had all the other symptoms.

Yep had it in August. Cough, fever and wiped out...it takes a while to get over it....live almost two weeks.

My son had it this week - fever and headache. Over in about 48=72 hrs.

My DD has fever, headache and sore throat since yesterday.
When it hit her knees were really achey too and that had me worried about Lyme but no achey joints today. Her fever is only about 101 but she's so miserable I have been giving her pain reliever, which helps a bit.

Yes there was a headline over the wknd that the Entero virus that hit the midwest is now in the northeast. I had this last week...at least I hope that's what it was. Otherwise I may be hit again. Sux. My kid had a bad cold before but didn't have the sore throat so not sure it's the same thing. A couple weeks ago near start of school many kids were out in our MoCo school.

DH had fever and headache for four days. Today his strep swab was positive. No sore throat.
