Is Spanx for every day wear?

I'm looking for something to hide my "muffin-top" so I can wear jeans with some of my pre-pregnancy, more form-fitting cotton tops.
Is spanx good for this or is there something better for daily use? Thanks.

Spanx won't hide your muffin top--Yummie Tummies will. Here is their website: http://www.yummietummie.com/yummie-tummie-tank-tops-regular.html I've seen them at Ginger and at Daisy (both in Bethesda), and am sure they can be found downtown at boutiques as well. They're expensive but they totally work.

not the answer you are looking for, but what the hell. embrace your muffin top! you are human and a mom and unique person and not a mannequin.

Really? Embrace it? I mean, if it's a little one, then ok, stay away from the low-rise jeans, wear some empire waisted shirts and be comfy. But don't let yourself go, and please, don't feel like it's okay to show it.

We're all busy, we're all proud to be moms, but muffin tops are, quite frankly, not for public consumption.
