| I keep buying different brands and they are too shiny, too opaque, etc. What hose brands do you love? |
Wolford. Stop by one of their retail stores. Best hosiery money can buy. I love their tights! |
| Love Berkshire and Hanes Ultra Sheer. |
| Woolford, if you take care of them they will last a long time. |
| A couple years ago I got the recommendation of DKNY from DCUM. I also like Calvin Klein. But I wear thin tights, is that different from opaque hose? |
| You spend 50-80 on a pair of stockings? |
|
Wolford are overpriced and overrated, in my opinion. I've bought a pair or two of the merino ones - they pilled and looked crappy after a couple of wearings.
Haven't found the magic pair of black tights that aren't too opaque, aren't shiny, and don't fall apart. Oh, and aren't a fortune. |
| I actually think that the Hue brand is good quality but not too expensive in case you run into something that causes a snag. I wear their knee-high stockings (more like hose than tights) nearly daily with heels and pants, and have only had to replace one or two pairs over 3 or more years. The only special treatment I give them is putting them into a lingerie bag to wash with the rest of my clothes (I do air dry). Tights I've had last forever too. |
| LOVE Hue. They're thick and don't snag. I normally buy the Hue Opaque ones. I've bought so many over the years and Hue out performs them all. |
Funny but I hater the wolford merino line. Try another kind of wolfords and you'll fall in love. |
Heck yeah. Look fantastic with my 650 dollar shoes. Completes the look. Once you start wearing expensive shoes and hosiery you never go back. |
|
I buy all my legwear from shapings.com
You'll never find these brands in a store; Europeans know how to make pantyhose! http://www.shapings.com/pantyhose/opaque/ |
Don't be a bitch. It is really unattractive. |
So is jealousy. |
Spanx. Even if you don't need the shapewear part. They hold up really well. |
