Should I watch West Wing season 5?

Is 5 the one where Zoe is missing in the beginning and john goodman was president? Then no, that season sucked ass. But the following season was awesome, the one with jimmy Smits and Alan Alda running for president.

Yes, season 4 ended with Zoe being kidnapped. And head writer left the show.

I will skip a season, then.

Yes, if you go straight to season 6, you won't skip a beat. The only episode from season 5 that is worth watching IMO is "The Supremes."

I just re-watched the whole series. I knew Season 5 was not great, but I decided I'd watch it in the background as I was doing other things. Worked for me.
