Already said, the "event" started when he got off the plane and met dignitaries. I guess we can go back and forth with me saying that getting off the plane and meeting dignitaries is an event and you saying no, but it would make more sense if we agree to disagree. Saying something over and over doesn’t change people’s minds.

Whether you think Macron dressed appropriately or not (for an unknown event that you have made up a scenario about), that’s on you. Enjoy having an opinion.

I agree it's a stupid look, but I think some men wear their suit blazer to fly versus packing it? Although I wouldn't think Hegseth has any limitations on flying/luggage that would require that.

Adding a random photo of Macron (who has his own weird problems with his wife and being groomed) has little to do with the alcoholic Hegseth wearing jeans when meeting people for the first time. Queen Elizabeth did not think meeting people at the plane was not a meeting and, therefore, wear jeans. She saved jeans for when she was with horses. lol

I personally don't have an issue with the jeans. But I do think it's a weird choice for an administration that caused an international incident by screaming at a foreign leader that he was under-dressed for a meeting because he didn't wear a suit. The point is the Trump team looks better than previous admins in everything they wear. Trumps kids get all kinds of criticism as well when they are all better looking, better dressed, than past admin kids and are healthy/fertile and ivy educated.
