Anyone recommend a spot that is aesthetically pleasing, has good food and a decent wine list, yet is not astronomically priced/have super high food minimum? TIA
Maggianos. seriously, I don't love chains for this kind of thing but they do a nice job for events.
They do seem reasonable, but I don't like the wines they list as options.

similar to that is Carmines.
Urbana might be able to do something - I had my wedding at the Palomar and the food, which was from Urbana, was amazing. |
How is Tabard Inn these days? Sort our their mess?
Chef Geoffs, Lias, or Clydes?
Vidalia on M Street has a side room that's about the right size. We've done our work holiday lunch there a few times. I can't remember the details - but they had a 3-course menu with 3 or so choices for each course that was reasonably priced. Everyone enjoyed the meal.
Woodward Table has a very nice private room. But with lots of windows (if thats a problem). we held a brunch for my daughters baptism tthere, I think we had about 15 people. Food is reasonablly priced.
