| Dc recently started at fallsmead elementary, we just moved here and do not know other parents. Any good/not so good things about the school I should know? |

| I know some people who have sent their kids there over the years, and they have had great things to say about the school. |

My kids go there, they are in 4th and 5th Grades. This week are the Back To School Nights: K - 2 tomorrow (Tuesday 9/10) and grades 3 - 5 on Wednesday, 9/11. When my kids were in K, I met some parents during the BTSNs, not to become friends immediately, but to know their faces to say Hi. I also tried to volunteer for most of the parties and what not. I WOH; however, I would take a 1/2 day off here and there for those parties. The first big one is typically Halloween. It is too bad that the weather was so icky on the night of the PTA picnic as that is usually a good night to meet other parents.

| I had two kids there before moving to Travilah. The kids really liked it. It's a good school, you should have no worries. |
