Infants, Toddlers, & Preschoolers
|
My son will be 2.5 this fall, and I'm thinking about transferring him from the daycare he now attends (two days a week while I work) to a nearby preschool program. We've been fairly happy with the first place, but feel the new one would be a better fit on many levels. The catch is that his new brother or sister is due in June, and would also need to be in daycare in the fall two days a week. At the first place, both of them could go, which would make life a LOT easier for us logistically, plus I like the idea that they would be near each other. However, I am really feeling like the new place would be a much better set-up for him. (Whether I'd keep the new baby in the first daycare or find another facility entirely is a whole other topic).
I'd love to hear from other parents who have kids in two different places. Is it a royal pain? Am I making life more complicated than it needs to be? Any tips for managing? The commute isn't terrible. Thanks! |
