We are ready to take the plunge and get a food processor. I'm tired of making soups in the blender and grating all my carrots by hand. What should I be looking for? It looks like the differences among the Cuisinarts are mostly the size (7-9-11-14 cups)?
We are not gourmet cooks by any stretch but like to cook and bake and would use it for prepping vegetables and making soups as well as doughs. Any thoughts are most welcome. |
| I feel like my cuisinart is a 12 cup, although I'm not totally sure, and it is perfect. I think, though, that you may want to look into immersion blenders for soups. Blending soups in a food processor can get really messy and immersion blenders are just so easy. |
