Rice Cooker- BPA Free?

Anonymous
It seems like all the ricer cookers I can find on amazon are coated with plastic non-stick stuff and/or made out of plastic. I can't imagine that is a good idea, so I am surprised I am not finding ones that are BPA or whatever. Am I making this into a bigger deal than it is? Is it possible to find a relatively low-chemical rice cooker?

I've found ceramic c/clay ones and metal stainless steel ones. I don't know how they compare.

We make ric on the stove top with a ceramic dutch oven.

Yeah, I really want to use a rice cooker- I'm just wary of all the plastic coating.

Use something like this. It's great for rice and will keep things hot for like 8-9 hours.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions! Man, some of are these expensive compared to the others.

I like the looks of this- does this look 'safe'? http://www.amazon.com/Aroma-ARC-914SBD-Uncooked-Digital-Steamer/dp/B007WQ9YNO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1409945859&sr=8-2&keywords=stainless+steel+rice+cooker

Whoops! OP again.
I wanted to ask those of you who know more about this stuff (probably most people!) if you would use this:

It's BPA free but is there anything else I need to be concerned about? I would love to be able to use it asboth a steamer AND a rice (and/or oatmeal and quinoa cooker would be AWESOME!).
