Reasons for pupil placement into a different HS in FCPS?

What are some ways that students might be allowed to pupil place into a different High School within Fairfax County Public Schools other than
for AP classes? HELP! Need information. What is the pupil placement process In FCPS?

The policy is described here:

If you provided more information as to why you have issues with the base school, people might have more specific suggestions, assuming it's not just "that school has too many minority or FARMS kids."

You can pupil place into an IB school, if your local school is AP. You can pupil place if the high school offers a class that the local HS does not. There are also mental health considerations.

Sounds like OP is already zoned for an IB school.

I think you can do it if your kid wants to study a language that isn't offered at your HS.

Applies to any class offered at one school and not another.

Programs, yes.

Individual class? No.

Requests for individual courses or extracurricular activities cannot be approved. For example a student at an AP school cannot transfer to another AP school for a single AP course.
