New Freelancing Gig

I was recently hired to do some freelance work with a new company. In my last discussion with them, they told me someone would be in touch in the next few days to discuss the relevant training and project dates. That was a week ago. I don't have the e-mail address of the person I spoke with (and they're not listed on the company website), just the phone number. As a freelancer, not knowing what dates they want me to work is sort of holding up other potential work, but this is a project I'm VERY excited about, so I don't want to book myself out of it. I do know they wanted to bring me in for a training day in the next two weeks, but again, no specific date. Would you try and call to get an update, or wait a little bit longer?

Call the receptionist (if there is one?) and ask for that person's email address.

Can you google around and figure out their email address? That is usually possible to do. If so, I'd say try to give it a couple more days, then just send a quick email saying that you're following up because you are starting to get booked up for the fall and you want to be sure you've blocked off the right days for this project.
