Where to buy dry ice?

My child is obsessed with having a birthday party punch with dry ice in it. I've never bought the stuff. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Can you drink punch that has dry ice in it?
I would worry that the kids would put the dry ice in their mouths and burn the insides of their mouths.

OP - here. The way I've seen it done is to use two punch bowls. Smaller one sits inside the larger one and holds the punch and the larger one outside is where to put the pieces of dry ice so that the dry ice doesn't come in contact with the punch. Kids are 9-10 so they are old enough to understand not touching or trying to touch the ice.

Most ice cream shops will probably have it too.

Also, some beer & liquor stores, if they sell ice, will also have dry ice.
