Recommendation for best neuro-psych evaluator

Have a 17 year old daughter with multiple diagnoses and a VERY complex history and profile. She's had psycho-educational evals in the past but never a full neuro-pscyh. Based on some very perplexing behaviors and other things that have been observed I think a neuro-psych is way overdue. I know there is Stixrud, which from what I hear is the best of the best but wondered if anyone has any other recommendations. Dr. Black at Stixrud came highly recommended but he's not available until February and I'd really like to do this asap for many reasons. I really need someone who in addition to being highly competent is flexible in their thinking and leaves no stone unturned. TIA

I agree Stixrud is by reputation "the best."
There are others who are quite good, and can get you in faster.
Will you second-guess if you don't go to "the best?"
I'm sure you can get some recommendations for the quite good here.

Thanks, 10:01. I think if whoever I go to I feel confident with in what their approach is, their expertise, and their willingness to think outside the box I would be fine. I have heard a few horror stories about parents that have had their kids evaluated by neuro-psychs that were not that competent and it can result in inaccurate diagnoses, prognosis, etc.
