Cars on Campus

I am seriously thinking of letting DC take their car to college (small, inconspicuous car). DC is very responsible, and I think it might be nice to have the car for weekend jaunts when not buried in books. There is parking at a price which I would be willing to pay for. I'm fortunate in that DC has never abused the privilege of being able to drive and very responsible. Seriously, a really conscientious kid or I wouldn't even consider it.

Anybody out there who has allowed their DC to take a car to college? Your experiences?

My DC has had a car for Junior and Senior years. It's been convenient for getting to and from school. She doesn't use it much at school (small town, not many places to drive).
