I watched the first episode last night. No spoilers but great show and cast. 1960s London hospital obstetrics gynecology ward with many changes in how women are treated. Anyone else?

| Never heard of it, but I just watched a little online with lunch. A far cry from "Call the Midwife," but I think I like it. I'm desperate for something to watch (to tide me over to the new TV season in a month) and I hope this fits the bill. |

Breathless is like the anti-Call the Midwife.
Both are great. Also Wallender is back. Love the brooding Swedish thing done by a brooding Brit. |

Agree! I don't think it's going to last. Doesn't have the charm of "Midwife" and the abortion line is going to get old fast. Glad Wallender is back. Vera is also very good when it's on. |
