| I work at a place that is not near anything and can't go out for lunch. Sometimes I will bring my own lunch (leftovers or something I made specifically for lunch) but other times like tonight I just want to go out and grab something fast, specifically for tomorrow's lunch). Any ideas? I love Chick Fil A salads and eat them constantly during the week, this would not work to buy the night before right? Any other ideas? |
| Indian and Chinese work well for leftovers. |
| You could do a chipotle burrito, just do it in a bowl, no lettuce or guacamole. That would hold up well. |
| Pizza or Chinese delivery. |
| I don't really know what's on a ChikFilA salad but I don't see why you can't get one, keep it in the fridge, and apply dressing tomorrow. Just leave off the tomato (bring a pint of grape tomatoes if you want them). |
Due to religious reasons, ChikFilA is closed on Sundays. |
| Whole foods has some good options, both prepared meals in a cold case, and things you can buy at the deli that hold up well. I particularly like their cranberry tuna salad, with some crackers and some kind of vegetable. |
| Moby Dick for a kebab and some hummus and pita? |
| A Trader Joe's salad |
| Grocery store deli section--lots of sandwiches, salads, sides, etc. |

I know it's not take out, but those microwave ready soups are very helpful to have around.
leftover pasta would be fine - lasagna, spaghetti, whatever. I'd avoid meat, though, which can be gross if you zap it. |
Might be an odd request but I bet you could ask them to pack the lettuce in a separate container. |
Get a black bean burrito from Whole Foods in the cold, prepared food section, and heat it up for lunch the next day or the day after. They are so good. Bring salsa too. |
| Curries, stews, and soups. |
+1. They keep a few days, so you can buy a few and bring one each day. I don't think any of them are more than $4.99. |
