Shaare Tafilla nursery school in Kensington?

| Does anyone send their child/children to Shaare Tafilla? Just wondering what your thoughts and experiences are. TIA! |

| FYI - Next year, Temple Emanuel will be having its own nursery school (with the former Director of the DCJCC) in the building that now houses the Shaare Tefilah NS. I've heard that Shaare Tefilah may not have a nursery school next year unless they find a location in Olney (where they are eventually moving). |

| My daughter attended Shaare Tefila last year when she was 2 years old. It was the first time she had ever been away from me (no babysitters... nothing!). I think we were both terrified - but I give great credit to Colleen (the 2 year old teacher) for taking charge and helping us through the transition. The school was kind of chaotic, and the structure was very loose, but there is a great love of children there, and a lot of support for the parents. We took our daughter out because she got into a school closer to our work, but were glad we had chosen Shaare Tefila as an initiation to school for her. ALSO - they are COMPLETELY flexible about schedules.... which is very rare. |
