global entry issued same day as interview ?

| Does anyone know if you get the global entry approval right after your scheduled interview? I have a trip id like to use it on so am trying to schedule accordingly |

| Yes. You get approval then and can put your # in your flight reservation so it is in the system. The "interview" lasts about 30 seconds BTW. |

| We did not get same day approval. But we didn't ask for it either. Our cards came in the mail within a week. |
