Cue 401k guy to say that everyone else is fine because his portfolio is up.

Don’t forget that I’m making more money at work, and I’ve paid off all my debt, and our last child just graduated from college.

If you live modestly, save aggressively, and manage debt responsibly the peaks and troughs of the economy are more easily weathered.

A high percentage of the Americans that are worse off financially would be in a similar predicament if Kamala Harris was president.

Love it! Republicans should definitely go with “It’s your own damn fault your broke” as a campaign slogan.

Staying broke is the result of consistently poor financial choices. We’ve all heard the stories of frail old people that lived a modest life, worked a low wage job, then passed away and left $2,000,000 to their church.

Yes, we all heard the anecdote. We've also all heard about posters that take an anecdote and brainlessly generalize it to entire populations. In any event, can you provide more details about your anecdote? What did they pay for housing, food, energy, etc. in relation to their earnings?

Which also means no rate cuts any time soon for those buying homes, cars, etc

Stagflation is coming.

Who knew that Trump and Jimmy Carter would have so much in common (bad economy/Iran), except that Carter was a decent person who was overtaken by events and Trump CAUSED the events.

Rate hikes will be coming before the end of the year or january at the latest.

Imagine that! Yet, pollsters are still playing the disapproval game keeping it in the 30% range. YouGov 29%

Carter had bad luck, Trump is the worst president in history.

Carter gets a halo and Trump is in for a very hot eternity.

This is what most of the conservative/MAGA/Republican viewpoints ultimately boil down to.
